ASMFC Now Receiving Applications for State Coordinator – Seagrass Management Program Position

The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission is looking to fill the position of New York State Coordinator for the Seagrass Management Program.  The coordinator would be based out of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Division of Fish, Wildlife, and Marine Resources in East Setauket, New York.  Frequent traveling within the state and some out of state traveling is required.  The position is funded through the New York State Environmental Protection Fund and is supervised by the Marine Habitat Section Head in the Bureau of Marine Resources Headquarters at the Department of Environmental Conservation.  For more information on the job description and application process, please click here.  Applications are due by October 31, 2014.
